Responsibilities
- Inspect products and packaging materials during production
- Keep equipment and workspaces clean and organized
- Operate forklifts when required (training available)
- Package, label, and palletize finished goods
- Maintain records and follow safety protocols
- Assist in basic machine maintenance and help train new hires
- Support food safety procedures per FSMA guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work background
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or factory experience preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with standard safety practices
- Physically fit to stand, lift, and move materials throughout shift
- Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to learn)
Applicant Location
The position is based on-site in Kochi, Japan. Shifts are on a rotation, so being flexible with working hours — including nights and weekends — is a must. Applicants must already be in Japan or legally able to work there. Local candidates are preferred.
