Hardscape Construction Worker – Absolute Deck and Fence

Responsibilities

• Assist in building decks, fences, and pergolas on various outdoor projects
• Use hand tools and power equipment safely during daily tasks
• Handle site preparation including digging, measuring, and setting materials
• Load and unload materials at job sites
• Drive the company ute to and from different project locations
• Carry out physical labor-intensive duties such as site cleanup, building assembly, and wood lifting.
• Observe the site supervisors’ instructions and work plans.
• Work together as a team to finish jobs quickly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your tools and equipment.
• Report any equipment problems or site risks right once.
• Take part in on-site safety talks and team briefings.
  Assist with installing temporary site structures when required
• Focus on delivering clean and polished finishes for each project
• Support team operations by helping wherever needed on-site

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• No formal education required, but practical construction experience is valued
• Relevant trade certifications in carpentry or landscaping are a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in deck or fence construction is preferred
