Responsibilities
- Pick avocados carefully to keep them top quality.
- Trim and tie branches to help trees grow strong.
- Spray crops, water, or spread fertiliser as needed.
- Plant new trees, mulch, or mow the orchard grounds.
- Drive tractors, mowers, or chainsaws for daily tasks.
- Keep the orchard tidy, clearing weeds or rubbish.
- Stick to safety rules when using tools or chemicals.
- Work outside, rain or shine, in Tapora’s weather.
- Jump in with the team during hectic harvest days.
- Spot gear issues and tell the boss straight away.
- Climb ladders or lift gear for orchard jobs.
- Switch between tasks depending on the day’s needs.
- Follow crop protection rules to keep pests out.
- Park your self-contained van in the onsite area.
- Show up ready to graft each day.
Requirements
