Responsibilities
- Handle rough carpentry tasks like parapets and backing.
- Set up perimeter fencing and keep the site clear.
- Use power tools for general construction work.
- Operate equipment like telehandlers and skid steers.
- Help tradespeople with framing, roofing, or other tasks.
- Clean up the site, removing debris and rubble.
- Apply foundation insulation and install doors.
- Fit washroom accessories and other hardware.
- Pump water or clear snow as needed.
- Keep safety first with a Fall-Arrest certification.
- Support the crew during busy project phases.
- Work outdoors, even in tough weather.
- Take direction but also work solo when needed.
- Drive to various site locations as required.
- Pitch in with seasonal maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience
1–7 months in industrial, commercial, or institutional construction preferred.
Skills
