Responsibilities

• For many years, Maddison Constructions has been engaged in residential, commercial, and office construction projects throughout Queensland.
• They are a team that ensures every task is completed correctly and without haste since they think that quality craftsmanship counts.
• Assisting apprentices and passing on skills when possible
• Reporting to site supervisors and giving updates on tasks
• Taking measurements and double-checking accuracy before cuts
• Handling repairs and maintenance when required
• Following safety procedures and wearing proper PPE
• Managing your time well to meet deadlines

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry)
• White Card is required

Experience

At least 3 years of carpentry work on construction sites

Skills

• Confident using all standard carpentry tools
• Good at reading plans and visualising the end result
• Precise measuring and cutting skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication with team members
• Physically fit for manual work

Knowledge

• Solid understanding of building codes and standards in Australia
• Knowledge of different timber types and their uses
• Familiarity with site safety regulations
• Experience with both residential and commercial projects
